2018 saw big changes for Channel ShapeMaker Network Group, and the UK’s leading technology community continue to colour outside the lines with the appointment of Channel favourite, David Tulip, to the Chair.

A 15-year veteran of Network Group, David has been responsible for the success and growth of the Groups Managed Print Programme as well as a contributing member of the community. Regularly appearing in Channel news, David commands the respect of his peers and the network Group Partners.

“To say I am excited, honoured and humbled to be at the helm of the UK’s Leading Technology Community is an understatement,” says Tulip. “It truly is the place where forward-looking tech people come together, to improve themselves and their businesses.  The group currently has over 80 member companies in key geographical areas of the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands and also a presence now in mainland Europe.

We enter a new phase of the Group’s development as we build upon our community strength; the recent appointment of a new MD, Hugh Furness, brings ambitious plans that will see us double in member number over the next 3 years as we become a more “commercial community”.  Both our members and vendor partners will be key beneficiaries as we all seek to grow in revenues and profitability.  There has never been a better time for vendors or distributors to be involved, gaining access to advantageous routes to market and as such I invite you to speak with us if you would like to be a part of our next phase.”

In the Groups Silver Jubilee year David looks forward to its 10th Awards & Gala Dinner where, in addition to a day of networking and vendor show-casing, the Channels most eminent peer group will be celebrating the success of its members and vendor partners.

Join the fun with this exceptional tech community at Whittlebury Hall in Northamptonshire on the 21st March 2019, as they continue to bring forward-looking tech people together to improve themselves and their businesses.
